Yeah this week was ok not much to do. We had a FBLA meeting and they were talking about how we are going to go

to Dorney Park so it was ok. The things that are hard about fedora are not understanding what you have to do. Like when 

you have to update or install something it needs. Another reason why is hard is because I don't now that much about Fedora.

And it is alot harder then Windows XP. It has alot of mysterious things that I don't understand.

But kyle is helping me understand it more. My goal is to learn more and find information in google and other sites and work hard to understand 

it.

Yeah this week was so boring not much to do. Just playing with fedora and learning new things like always. Another thing I was doing is updating fedora it alway's takes to long. I had to update 2 times in two days. It gets boring if you have to update fedora because it takes so long. Kyle was helping me update and talking about upgrading to Fedora Core 9 that is coming out soon.Next week I'm going to update system updates it's probably going to take long like always but its ok...

This week wasn't that good because we had testing and we didn't have enough time to do things.

 kyle was telling me about KDE and what it was. So then we were trying to installe and upgrade fedora 9 to my machine.

But we couldn't upgrade because it wasn't working well. It didn't work that well because are VMware machine don't work that

well. It takes Linux to much time to boot and to update KDE the proper way because we have to wait so they can install right.  So 

I'm going to install KDE this week so will see what happens. And I hope we can update as soon as possible and so it can work well.

Hey me and kyle are working with Fedora. Well we were updating Fedora in my computer and it was taking long time to update. Well right now I'm playing with fedora in my VM and this are some of the things i learned about it. Fedora is an RMB based general purpose in  Linux distribution developed by the community-supported Fedora projects. Fedora's statement is: "Fedora is about the rapid progress to Open Source software." One of Fedora's main objectives is to not only to contain and open source software but also to be on the leading edge of such technologies. Also developers in Fedora prefer to make upstream changes instead of applying fixes specifically for Fedora – this ensures that updates. Another thing I learn is that Linux is for web servers, and firewalls. It is more secure and doesn't have that much viruses like Windows does. Fedor 8 Network Manager is more faster than pervious fedora's. It as a more reliable connection and alot better secured.
