YOYOYO

mk, so i chose to work alone cuz at first i had no idea what i was doing, not gonna lie, so as time went by i had it figured out eventually, then when i saw the amount of coding involved, i wanted to bring in my buddy shaun, but he was doing robotics and the robots were already ordered so that was a no. this kid is big in c++ so that woulda helped a lot, but.. its not THAT hard when valve gives you the source files... geez it would take mne MONTHS to write all that stuff.. but it takes a lot of understanding to edit that stuff, so i got some experience there! level up, eh? haha, well this is a great learning experience and i hope to further this project into a full modification of half life, which is literally a whole new game, s'all thanx to mr. champion, but if i were to make my own game, i'd love to be on a team, for time, and creativity's sake

6th entry: Final Project

Robert Ginser.. A man with a rotton soul. brought up in an orphanage and ran away at the age of 17. Living a life on the streets he had to lean how to live, lie, and work his way through life. This led him to a life of crime, making the wrong decisions, am\nd hanging with the wrong crowd. Robert has recently escaped from a Jail in the middle of nowhere. Running from the pursuing officers he runs into a canal.. continuing on he incounters a waterfall and with thoughts of dying no matter what decision he took, he jumped. knocked out on impact he goes through a hellish experience, facing his fears, and many things he has never seen before. could this be a life-changing experience? or can some people just never change?

Week Five

so this week was slightly eventful.  i figured out how to make a "seamless" loading screen and the maps are coming along nicely.  im going to start working on the first level now along with choreography and npc scripting. this is going to be a short yet challenging game.

so pretty much whats going wrong at the moment is that the model textures are discolored and rainbow-like.  im trying to figure out how i can avoid this and im going to be bringing in a friend to help me a little.  i really dont have much to type  in this thing now because of how little i've been getting done but im working around it.

last week reflection: week 4

ok so after numerous problems this has become quite frustrating , i am officially behind schedule and i will have to start mapping at home.  the models are still displaying weird and my attemp to construct my own heads-up display is a failure. although there is nothing wrong with the current one, a new one would be nice. i got the map change to work but now the ai is disabled upon map change and the player spawns under the map, in the bottom ov the skybox.

there is a lot to do still and google has not been doing me much justice.. earlier i spent 1.5 weeks just trying to get the game to launch before i just started from scratch, now that thats all in order im really rushing with this in hope to get it done.

last week reflection

ok so it was a major revision of my timeline. i have decided to design a mod. a game based on the half-life 2 engine.  i will be designing multiple maps and levels, choreography and try to make a small storyline.  right now i am having problems starting the game. it launches and then i cant start/load a game.  i am pretty much starting the game over from scratch except the map fiels.

i hope i get this fixed because it had been digging into all my spare time and i keep forgetting to do other assignments. like this reflection, and podcasts, i'm not exactly behind in my schedule but i wasted all of last week trying to fix this.
